INDIA the Wonderland:

India is a world of superlatives. One of the oldest and grandest of human civilizations - the Indus valley Civilization. India's diversity is unmatched. The birth place of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism. A land of one Billion people, one sixth of the whole world. A land of more than 150 different languages and many more dialects. Where else can you find the mighty Himalayas or the holy Ganges? The widest variety of flora and fauna. Perhaps the most invaded country in the world. India's wealth is the wealth of the nations today.

Some still think that India is a land of Black Magic, Snake Charmers and Rope Tricks. Of course it is. But it is much more than that. One of the handful of countries in the world with indigenous Space Technology. One of few leaders in Nuclear Science and Technology. A global leader in Information Technology.

There is a dark side too: Poverty, Illiteracy, Corruption, .... This is all largely because we have forgotten ourselves. We have started fancying with the hollow glow and glitter of the western world. Get back to your roots. Start thinking. You do not need to look elsewhere for the solutions to your problems. Good solutions already exist in most cases. Right here in India.

India also has a very solid foundation perfected over thousands of years.The roots are strong. The branches and leaves are showing bad signs of terrible diseases. But make no mistake, the tree will not die. It will come back. It will survive, thrive and shine. It is only a matter of time. The disease will be cured. India will emerge as the greatest of all in every walk of life. Just wait and see. Do not under estimate the power of one Billion people with strong convictions deep in their heart. A few corrupt and greedy leaders might have confused many into believing the false. But truth shall reign supreme. satyameeva jayate. Wait and see.

Many people in the world today do not know anything about India. Unfortunately, even Indians hardly know India. We have only two kinds of Indians - Non-Resident Indians and Resident Non-Indians! It is not acceptable to ignore what has already been done by somebody and claim it as your own new discovery. That you do not understand Sanskrit is no valid excuse. You will have to learn the language. You will have to respect all that has already been discovered long long ago here in India. There is no escape.
